
Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Research Seminar: From barriers to access: Exercise in patients with exertional hypoxemia

Join Associate Professor Mary Beth Brown, PT, PhD, Director of Research, for a discussion of exercise access and safety for people with exertional hypoxemia and interstitial lung disease.
This seminar will examine the physiology and clinical effects of exertional hypoxemia, the role of remote monitoring in expanding access to exercise programs, and current gaps in evidence and exercise guidelines.
All are welcome. Eligible for Washington Physical Therapy Association continuing education units.
About the series
The Rehabilitation Research Seminar series is hosted by the Division of Physical Therapy in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the UW School of Medicine. Sessions are held at 4 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month in HSEB 101. Faculty, staff, students, clinicians, researchers, and community members are welcome to attend.
Eligible for Washington Physical Therapy Association continuing education units.
