Join Assistant Professor Rachel Prusynski, DPT, PhD, for a seminar exploring the importance of evidence-based practice and policymaking amid recent changes in federal policy and healthcare funding.
Participants will learn about the effects of policy changes on rehabilitation research and practice, examine examples from acute rehabilitation, and discuss the role of data and machine learning in healthcare decision-making.
All are welcome. Eligible for Washington Physical Therapy Association continuing education units.
About the series
The Rehabilitation Research Seminar series is hosted by the Division of Physical Therapy in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the UW School of Medicine. Sessions are held at 4 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month in HSEB 101. Faculty, staff, students, clinicians, researchers, and community members are welcome to attend.
