Faculty and residents from the University of Washington Department of Rehabilitation Medicine took part in the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM) Annual Meeting, held April 23–29, 2026, in Seattle. Read our earlier summary of presentations.

Assistant Professor Lyndsey Booker, MD, served on the program planning committee for this year’s meeting. Charis Turner, MD, a first-year physical medicine and rehabilitation resident, received a Jason Davenport Memorial Scholarship, awarded by the AMSSM Diversity Interest Group to support trainees presenting research or clinical work at the conference. The annual award includes a $500 stipend.
