I have always had an interest in the human body ever since taking an Anatomy class in high school and seeing how that interest carried me to pursue Physical Therapy as a career has been a great achievement in my life. As a physical therapist, I enjoy creating an environment where people move better, feel stronger, and become empowered to learn more about health and exercise to the fullest! I believe the opportunities to interact with others and listening in on their unique stories and combining those elements with the passion I have for the skill of Physical Therapy is truly a rewarding experience.

I pursued the field of orthopedics because I like the extended time I spend with people in this setting and seeing the progress from start to finish. I found that the ideals, approach, and resources of the UW Physical Therapy Program were in alignment with what I felt could best support me as I furthered my career. I plan to utilize my knowledge and experiences to make an impact not only with my patients but also with the next generation of physical therapists and other healthcare professionals through leadership, collaboration, compassionate, and evidence-based care.

Outside the clinic, you can find me researching and trying out the best local food spots and making it an adventure at the same time! I also enjoying watching and attending sporting events, going to the beach, BBQ-ing, baking, and shopping for my next pair of shoes! Hawaii is my forever home, but I love the PNW as well, and I look forward to all of the upcoming opportunities and experiences!
