Kendl Sankary is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. She is interested in the management of clinical comorbidities associated with Spinal Cord Injury as well as other neurologic and general rehabilitation diagnoses. She completed her MD at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and her Residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at University of Washington. She went on to complete specialized fellowship training in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine, also at University of Washington.

Her teaching responsibilities are with residents in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Program and in the Spinal Cord Injury Fellowship program.
Research Interests
Dr. Sankary has conducted research on infection in patients with Spinal Cord Injury including differences in vital signs with infection and Covid19 vaccination efficacy in patients with spinal cord injuries.
