Erik Haugen, DPT
Hello! My name is Erik Haugen, and I was born and raised in the pacific northwest growing up in Mill Creek, WA and attending Henry M. Jackson High school. Growing up, I was an avid baseball player, and my own experiences with arm injuries and physical therapy first inspired me to pursue a career in PT. I am thrilled to be returning to my home region to continue my career and striving to provide excellent care to my community.
I originally attended California Lutheran University, where I earned my degree in Exercise Science, before continuing my education at Regis University in Denver, Colorado, where I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Prior to my first clinical rotation, I had never spent time in a hospital setting outside of visiting family or friends, but I quickly discovered a passion for acute care physical therapy. I value the opportunity to connect with patients and families during some of the most critical and vulnerable moments in their lives while helping patients regain function and independence throughout their recovery.
Outside of physical therapy, I enjoy playing in a local baseball league, fly fishing and exploring Washington’s rivers, and taking my Springer Spaniel, Finn, on long walks.
