University of Washington Burn Injury Model System

The University of Washington's Burn Injury Model System of Care is a federally funded, multidisciplinary program that promotes the best health and recovery in persons with burn injury by using information gained from cutting edge research, in clinical care.

The Model System includes the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, as well as the University of Washington Burn Center at Harborview Medical Center, and the Department of Surgery's Division of Plastic Surgery.

The University of Washington was selected as a Model System of Care site because of our reputation as national leaders in clinical care and burn injury research.
