"VA Offers Hope" video wins 2024 Silver Telly award

A video featuring the VA Puget Sound Healthcare System’s ALS program has won a 2024 Silver Telly Award. The video, "VA Offers Hope: Understanding Our ALS Patients’ Needs," features Ileana Howard, MD, an associate professor in our department and the medical director of the ALS Center for Excellence at VA Puget Sound. It also highlights Army National Guard veteran Bill VanderPloeg, who is now a patient at VA Puget Sound.

Produced by Titan Alpha, the video won silver in the Government Relations – Non-Broadcast category. The annual Telly Awards showcase the best work created within television and across video, for all screens. This year’s event took place on May 21, 2024.
