Rundell named to UW Research Impact Advocates cohort

Sean Rundell, PT, DPT, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and associate director of the Resource Core at the UW CLEAR Center for Musculoskeletal Disorders, has been selected to join the inaugural Research Impact Advocates cohort organized by the University of Washington Office of Research.

The program runs from December 2025 through October 2026 and is designed to help faculty build skills and connections to engage public audiences about research evidence and its impact. Participants will take part in training sessions on op-ed writing, science communication, and media engagement, as well as mentorship opportunities with experienced colleagues. Each advocate will also complete at least two public engagement activities during the year.
