Rachel Prusynsky, DPT, PhD

Assistant Professor Rachel Prusynski, DPT, PhD, NCS, has received a $64,800 grant from the National Institute on Aging Imbedded Pragmatic AD/ADRD Clinical Trials (IMPACT) Collaboratory to support her participation in the 2025 Real World Data Scholars Program. The funding supports 30% of her full-time effort for the next year.

The Real World Data Scholars Program is a one-year, mentored training experience for early-career investigators focused on using real-world data to improve care for people living with dementia and their care partners. Prusynski’s project, Establishing data infrastructure for a home health and hospice data cooperative, focuses on strengthening data resources to support research and care improvement in home-based and long-term care settings.

As part of the program, scholars complete a mentored research project and take part in IMPACT Collaboratory training and professional development activities.
