
Prusynski appointed to APTA Public Policy and Advocacy Committee

Associate Professor Rachel Prusynski, DPT, Ph.D., has been appointed by the president of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) to serve on the national APTA Public Policy and Advocacy Committee.
The committee provides strategic guidance to APTA’s Board of Directors on key public policy issues, including health care delivery systems, payment models, public health, and access to care. Dr. Prusynski will bring her expertise in post-acute care and Medicare policy to support the committee’s charge of advancing physical therapy in legislative and regulatory arenas and advocating for society's rehabilitation and health care needs.
