Rachel Prusynski, DPT, PhD, assistant professor in the Division of Physical Therapy, will join the Winter 2026 cohort of the University of Washington Data Science & AI Accelerator program through the eScience Institute.
The program pairs researchers with data scientists to advance data-intensive projects. Dr. Prusynski will collaborate on a project using Medicare data and machine learning techniques to examine changing predictors of therapy services in skilled nursing facilities. The skills learned from this program will support her planned NIH R01 application in 2026.
