Congratulations to first year MOT student Natalie VanDevanter who is the 2025 recipient of the Lisa Wong Legacy Endowed Fund for Stroke Rehabilitation Research. The fund was established by Michael L. Wong, PsyD, a UW undergraduate alumnus 2002, in honor of his mother. Natalie will be mentored over the next year by Associate Professor Danbi Lee, PhD, OTD, OTR/L.

Natalies states, "I am very grateful to receive the Lisa Wong Legacy Endowed Fund for Stroke Rehabilitation Research which will allow me to further pursue my interests in research and neurorehabilitation and to learn more about and contribute to stroke research. I will soon be starting my research with Dr. Danbi Lee which will include qualitative interviews of participants who have recently completed a stroke self-management rehabilitation (IPASS-R) program."
