Occupational therapy faculty to present at AOTA Education Summit

Assistant Teaching Professor Keri DeGroot, OTD, OTR/L; Associate Professor Danbi Lee, PhD, OTD, OTR/L; and Assistant Teaching Professor Becky Smith, OTD, OTR/L will present at the 2026 American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Education Summit, November 13-14, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Their presentation, Enhancing Receptivity, Accessibility, and Equity of Clinical Fieldwork Placements for Occupational Therapy Students with Disabilities, will explore strategies for creating more accessible and equitable clinical fieldwork experiences for occupational therapy students with disabilities. The work was developed in collaboration with recent Rehabilitation Science PhD graduate Emma Gregg, OTD, OTR/L.
