MPO student Zoe Massa receives Hanger Foundation Scholarship

Zoe Massa, a Master of Prosthetics & Orthotics student, has received the 2025 Hanger Foundation Scholarship, which provides $10,000 per year for two years. The scholarship supports graduate students pursuing careers in prosthetics and orthotics and aims to strengthen the profession.
The UW Master’s in Prosthetics and Orthotics program successfully applied to join the Hanger Scholarship Program. Applications from first-year students were reviewed by a committee chaired by Assistant Professor Cody McDonald, PhD, and alumni from the program. Massa earned her undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Texas A&M University and is in her first year of the MPO program.
