Clinical Professor Cindy Lin, MD, FACSM, FAAPMR, and Clinical Professor Stanley A. Herring, MD, presented When Seconds Matter: Managing Cardiac, Head and Spine Emergencies in Sport at the NATA EducATe: AOSSM Pre-Conference 2026 on July 8 in Seattle. The 4.5-hour session focused on best practices for managing sudden cardiac arrest, head injuries, and cervical spine injuries in sports, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary teamwork, emergency action planning, and evidence-based care. 

This education session was offered in conjunction with the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine annual meeting.
