Assistant Professor Hanna Hunter, MD, has been accepted into the UW School of Medicine Rising Leaders 2025-2026 cohort. Dr. Hunter is a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician who specializes in cancer rehabilitation. She is also the medical director of cancer rehabilitation at Fred Hutch Cancer Center.
The Rising Leaders course is designed to equip UW School of Medicine faculty who are new to leadership or aspiring to new leadership roles with practical leadership skills, while also fostering connections and community across our system. This course consists of ten monthly sessions on Tuesday afternoons. Topics include principles of adaptive leadership, team building, coaching, managing conflict, and more.
