Join us March 21-22 for the 2026 Sports and Musculoskeletal Medicine Symposium at UW Medicine at South Lake Union’s Orin Smith Auditorium.
This year’s theme, “ACL and athletic knee injuries: Risk reduction, rehabilitation, surgical management, and return-to-play,” will focus on advanced approaches to preventing and treating athletic knee injuries.
The multidisciplinary event is designed for physical therapists, primary care physicians, physiatrists, and other sports medicine professionals seeking continuing education in sports and musculoskeletal medicine. Up to 10.5 hours of CE/CEU available.
Keynote speakers
- Clare Arden, PhD, University of British Columbia — Editor-in-Chief, Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy; expert on return-to-play and psychological readiness in ACL injuries.
- Greg Myer, PhD, Emory University — Director, Emory Sports Performance and Research Center; leader in ACL biomechanics, injury prevention, and human performance neuroscience.
Course director
Charles Kenyon, DO, MS, CSCS, Assistant Professor, Sports & Spine Division, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine; board-certified physiatrist in sports medicine and PM&R with expertise in sports science and prior experience with the Seattle Mariners.
