Lina Mezei, MD, earned a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and an MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed her internship at University of Washington School of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine, followed by her residency in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, serving as Chief Resident during her final year. Following residency, she was hired as a Whole Health General Physiatrist at the VA Puget Sound-Seattle Division. She is heavily involved in resident education and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the University of Washington, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. Her areas of clinical practice include neurorehabilitation, cancer rehabilitation, musculoskeletal and spinal rehabilitation, electrodiagnostic medicine, lifestyle medicine and interdisciplinary post-COVID rehabilitation. She is passionate about empowering patients to be proactive in their health and wellbeing.
