Gloria Hou, MD, is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. She is the co-medical director of the UW Medicine Multiple Sclerosis Center. Dr. Hou hopes to serve her patients by listening to their concerns, discussing available information, and making decisions as a team. She strives to help persons with MS improve their function and quality of life. At a typical office visit, Dr. Hou may discuss topics concerning mobility, energy management, sleep, mood, bowel and bladder, or whatever is bothersome. Dr. Hou is a clinical associate professor for the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. Her clinical interests include multiple sclerosis, spasticity management, and neuro-rehabilitation. She also has a strong interest in nutrition, exercise, and wellness, and is certified in lifestyle medicine by the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
