Dr. Dawn Ehde is a neuropsychologist and professor in the UW Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. She holds the University of Washington Nancy and Buster Alvord Endowed Professorship in Multiple Sclerosis Research. She conducts randomized controlled clinical trials evaluating the benefits of various cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based interventions for chronic pain, fatigue, and/or mood in adults with acquired neurologic conditions, primarily multiple sclerosis. She is also interested in studying how to improve pain treatments and make them more accessible via telehealth. She obtained her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of North Dakota and completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington.
