Anne Moore is the Director of Physical Therapy Residency Education and a teaching associate in the Division of Physical Therapy. Dr. Moore is an American Physical Therapy Association Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy. Prior to joining the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine faculty, Dr. Moore practiced in acute care and inpatient rehab for 10 years at the University of Washington Medical Center. She also practiced as a physical therapist for Providence Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), working in the community with frail older adults providing both outpatient and home health care services. 

During her time as a clinician at University of Washington Medical Center, Dr. Moore was both a physical therapist clinician and clinical education specialist. She collaborated with rehab therapists, nursing, and physician colleagues to champion critical care early mobility and ICU-delirium management initiatives. She launched the UW Acute Care Physical Therapy Residency Program in 2016 and oversaw it's 5 year re-accreditation in 2021. She was both a clinical director and primary physical therapy mentor in the program. Dr. Moore currently serves as a subject matter expert on the committee to petition for Acute Care to be recognized as an area of specialty practice through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
