Alison Henderson, PhD
Dr. Alison Henderson works as a research psychologist and implementation scientist at VA Puget Sound's Center for Limb Loss and MoBility (CLiMB). The overarching goal of her work is to improve patient engagement and outcomes for individuals facing limb loss. She and her research team have successfully developed models predicting key outcomes (mortality, reamputation, restoration of mobility), converted these prediction models into online clinical decision support tools and successfully incorporated these tools into the electronic health record so they are auto-populated and easily integrated into clinical care. Dr. Henderson is successfully expanding these successful implementation strategies to expanded outcomes, including predicting falls.
