Rhonda M. Williams, Ph.D.

Dr. Williams is a Rehabilitation Psychologist at VA Puget Sound Health Care System and Associate Professor with the UW Department of Rehabilitation Medicine.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Williams specializes in working with Veterans returning from combat zones with complex/comorbid injuries. Areas of particular expertise include traumatic brain injury, amputation, managing pain, and PTSD.

Teaching Interests

Dr. Williams provides mentorship and supervision to pre-doctoral psychology interns and post-doctoral fellows specializing in Rehabilitation.

Research Interests

Dr. Williams’ research interests include self-interventions for managing chronic pain and improving quality of life after injury or illness, and long-term outcomes following limb loss.

Personal Interests

My family, our big dog, outdoor activities in the northwest.
