Research Centers

The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine has four Research Centers. Though each Center has a unique medical focus, they all strive to provide new knowledge, and better tools and methods for researchers.

The Centers also help patients access and interpret the results of research studies, and increase access to assistive technology and accessible information systems, which can vastly improve patient care and outcomes.

In addition to research conducted through our Centers, the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine is conducting a wide variety of Current Research Studies.

The Department of Rehabilitation's Research Centers include:

• Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Aging With Disabilities
• UW Center on Outcomes Research in Rehabilitation (UWCORR)
• UW Center for Technology and Disability Studies
