With heavy hearts, we celebrate the life of John Fergason, CPO, LPO, who served as Director of the Prosthetics & Orthotics program from 1996 to 2004. We were saddened to learn of John's passing after a short battle with cancer.
We remember him fondly as a gifted clinician, hard-working colleague, inspiring mentor, and constant friend. John was a huge inspiration to students and colleagues. He taught professionalism by modeling professionalism. Many of his statements will remain in our hearts, such as, "If it looks wrong, it probably is," and "Learning what not to do is just as important as what to do." He will be missed by many in the Pacific Northwest P&O Community. Our thoughts are with his wife and family.
