Prusynski and Mroz receive $100,000 Emergency Medicine Foundation grant

Assistant Professor Rachel Prusynski, DPT, PhD, and Associate Professor Tracy Mroz, PhD, OTR/L, have received a new $100,000 grant from the Emergency Medicine Foundation to fund a project titled “Examining the Link Between Regional Skilled Nursing Facility Capacity and Hospital Crowding.” As co-investigators, Drs. Prusynski and Mroz will work with Principal Investigator Amber Sabbatini, MD, MPH, from the UW Department of Emergency Medicine on this one-year project.
