Seeun Park, PhD, RN

Title: Advanced Training Fellowship in Rehabilitation Policy Research Fellow

Seeun Park is a postdoctoral scholar-fellow at the University of Washington. Her research focuses on understanding the aging process and health trajectories of people with long-term physical disabilities. Her work explores how aging patterns differ between those with disabilities and those without, analyzing the influence of various factors—including social determinants of health—that can either mitigate or exacerbate health disparities. Through her research, she aims to inform the development of tailored, effective interventions and policies that promote well-being and reduce inequities in this population.

She earned her PhD in Nursing Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her BSN from the Catholic University of Korea. Clinically, Dr. Park has experience as a nurse in the medical intensive care unit and pain clinic. She is also actively involved in several professional organizations, including the Gerontological Society of America, the American Public Health Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
