Sarah Simmons is a physician and assistant professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, working at UW Medicine's Multiple Sclerosis Center. Her clinical work focuses on rehabilitation and symptom management in people with MS. Her research interests include how exercise influences MS disease activity and progression. In addition to her MD, she completed her PhD in Immunology (studying mouse models of MS) and a neuroimmunology/MS fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.
