Sai B. Narotam, PsyD, MS, completed his doctorate in clinical psychology with an emphasis in health psychology and subsequent training including a clinical internship at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, MI and a postdoctoral fellowship at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, WI. Dr. Narotam works as a rehabilitation psychologist and clinical assistant professor in the Rehabilitation Medicine department at UW Medicine. He utilizes his expertise to assess and manage chronic pain, substance use, health behavior change, adjustment and emotional reactions to acute and chronic injuries/illness, and physical and cognitive disabilities.

Clinical Interests
Utilizing an interdisciplinary and biopsychosocial approach, Dr. Narotam treats patients by facilitating adjustment to injury/illness and coping with hospitalization, conducting psychological assessments, managing acute and chronic pain, assessing for reactions to trauma, providing behavioral management support, treating anxiety, depression, and promoting health behavior change.
Teaching Interests
Dr. Narotam is involved in clinical teaching of rehabilitation psychology interns and postdoctoral rehabilitation psychology fellows. His teaching incorporates a developmental model of assessing trainees needs to address growth edges while building upon strengths, and emphasizing experiential practice to build knowledge.
