Division: Rehabilitation Psychology & Neuropsychology

Dr. Alschuler is a psychologist and professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, and adjunct professor in the Department of Neurology in the University of Washington School of Medicine.

He has spent his career working as a clinician-scientist in both rehabilitation psychology and sport and performance psychology. He now works within the UW athletic department, serving student-athletes, coaches, and teams from across the university's 20 teams. His primary role is as the lead psychologist for UW football, where he is responsible for everything from mental health to the psychology of injury, rehabilitation, and return to play, to the mental side of playing football.
