Christine Chilaka, MD

Division: Physiatry

Dr. Christine Chilaka is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation resident in the department of Rehabilitation. She developed her passion for medicine at a young age, accompanying her mother, a nurse, during hospital shifts in Southern California. Her clinical interests include interventional spine, pain medicine, interventional pain management, and improving access to care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

When not treating patients in the hospital or clinic, Dr. Chilaka advocates for better resident conditions as the department representative for the Northwest/CIR/SEIU resident and fellow physician union. Her motto is "Always question why, and if you see a gap, fill it."
