Andrew Humbert is a biostatistician and assistant professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. He has experience applying a wide range of statistical methods, such as generalized linear models, linear mixed effects models, and permutations tests, to both observational and experimental studies. He has collaborated on studies across a growing range of clinical settings including burn rehabilitation, prosthetic and orthotics, and traumatic brain injury. He has a PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Washington.

Teaching Interests
His teaching responsibilities include providing guest lectures on introductory statistics topics as well as consultation services for graduate students, residents, and fellows within the Rehabilitation Medicine Department.
Research Interests
His research interests include the design and analysis of clinical trials and longitudinal studies as well as the analysis of small sample studies. His methodological interests include reducing the bias of estimates from generalized linear models for small sample sizes.
