Jean Deitz, Ph.D., OTR, FAOTA

Dr. Jean Deitz is an occupational therapist and UW professor emerita and in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine.

Teaching Interests

Dr. Deitz has taught courses related to pediatric occupational therapy theory and practice, research methods, and measurement. In addition, she leads graduate seminars and supervises students involved in teaching practica and research (projects, theses, and dissertations).

Clinical Interests

Dr. Deitz's primary clinical focus is pediatric occupational therapy, with a special interest in developing innovative programs designed to help children with special needs increase their social skills.

Research Interests

Dr. Deitz is primarily interested in pediatric occupational therapy. She has expertise in the areas of single subject research methods and measurement.
