Department of Rehabilitation Medicine
Capital Campaign

The University of Washington Department of Rehabilitation Medicine offers multidisciplinary educational programs, which confer degrees to more than 200 students annually. Attracting and empowering the world's best faculty, staff, and students in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Prosthetics and Orthotics depends on our ability to provide an environment that fosters creativity and inspires twenty-first century learning and discovery.

Our classrooms, designed for the academic needs of the previous century, need to be updated to accommodate contemporary learning technology, equipment, and student space that enable faculty to bring new dimensions of knowledge to the classroom. The renovation of our older spaces also will provide faculty and prospective students with powerful incentives to choose UW Rehabilitation Medicine.

We Need Your Help

We are asking those who trained in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Prosthetics and Orthotics to contribute the UW Rehabilitation Medicine Teaching Facilities Fund, which will support:

  • Creation of specialized study areas, additional student laboratories, and state-of-the-art classrooms.
  • Updating current classrooms to accommodate contemporary learning technology, equipment, and student space that enable faculty to bring new dimensions of knowledge to the classroom.
  • Provide faculty and prospective students with powerful incentives to choose UW Rehabilitation Medicine.
