Eligibility Requirements

Medical student applicants for PGY-1 and 2 positions will apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service. Allopathic and Osteopathic medical students are selected only through the National Resident Matching Program. The following items are required:

Applications will be accepted until October 1st. Prior to matriculating in our residency, medical students must have passed USMLE Steps 1 & 2 and Clinical Skills or COMLEX equivalent, and graduated from medical school.

Physicians may apply for open positions at any time, and may fax the application materials (same as above). One of the letters of reference must be from a program director which includes an assessment of performance in the program. Physicians may also apply through the match for PGY 2 positions the following year.

The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine Residency Training Program requires that all international medical graduates must:

All applications will be reviewed by the program director or the residency training committee to determine which applicants will be invited to interview. An applicant will usually be invited for interview if he/she has fulfilled the following eligibility requirements:

Applicants with unusual strengths who do not meet all the above criteria will be considered on an individual basis.
