REHAB 697P – Rehabilitation Medicine Special Electives (*, max 24 credits)

Offered: AWSpS; 4 – 12 weeks. Outside of WWAMI region
Prerequisites: Permission from Department. Plus 2 month application process

Description:

This is a four to twelve-week rehabilitation clerkship and is intended for those interested in exploring a career in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Students arrange the rotation with another facility (outside of the WWAMI region), obtain verbal approval from the sponsoring department clerkship director, and complete the "Credit for Away Clinical Electives" form from the Dean’s Office at least two months prior to the beginning of the quarter.

Objectives (each site may emphasize different objectives):

Student should define three learning objectives and submit to the clerkship coordinator at least one month prior to the beginning of the quarter.

Evaluation:

Honors, High Pass, Pass, and Fail. Based on recommendation of preceptor.
