Program Overview

APTA Clinical Residency

The University of Washington Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program is a structured paid (including benefits) 12-month, full-time program, with clinical experiences at the University of Washington Medical Center. This program is credentialed by the American Physical Therapy Association. Clinical experiences include outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, and acute settings. The program will provide residents with an opportunity to develop clinical expertise in the provision of care for individuals with various neurologic diagnoses. Areas of emphasis include:

Residents will spend 32 hours / week in the clinic, including 3 hours of mentored clinical experiences. Approximately 12 hours per week will be spent in didactic, independent study, and teaching experiences. The tuition fee for this program is $3,000.
