Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
Applying

The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) application deadline is December 15th of each year. There are two applications needed for the University of Washington DPT program. One is for the University of Washington Graduate School, and one is for the DPT Program.

University of Washington Graduate School Application

Fellowship Application (Optional)

The Division of Physical Therapy awards a McGee Fellowship of $5,000 each year for all three years of the program, to one incoming Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student. The Fellowship is awarded based on both merit and financial need. Interested applicants should complete the application form and return it to the address on the form's cover letter. The Fellowship recipient will be selected and notified by the end of February.

Policy on Re-applicants

There is no limit to the number of times a student may apply to the program. Application materials are kept for one year only. A new file is created annually for the applicant and the current file is the only one seen by the application review committee.

Policy on Returning Students

Returning students who previously dropped out of the program, or students declining an offered position must re-apply and are subject to the same review process used for other applicants.
